Story to be read aloud: A young shepherd boy, bored from watching his flock, decided to play a trick on the nearby villagers. He shouted, "Wolf! Wolf!" The villagers came running to help, only to find there was no wolf. The boy laughed. He did this again the next day. The third time, a real wolf appeared and attacked the sheep. The boy cried "Wolf! Wolf!" but this time, nobody came to help him, thinking it was another false alarm. The wolf destroyed his flock.
